Sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs. Biology for sustainability involves study of the changing environments, developing alternative solutions like food plants, to adapt to the transition and eventually advance our society. In this regards, biology addresses various challenging societal problems through managing sustainability with quality enhancement of our environment and discoveries of the natural resources.
